PiXCL™ end-nodes are wireless devices, operating in three different modes,

  • Class A

    • Aloha

  • Class B

    • Beacon

  • Class C

    • Continuous

They connect sensors to a WAN (Wide Area Network), communicating information such as,

  • temperature

  • humidity

  • geolocation

  • air pressure

  • water pressure

  • and more ...

They also have the ability to control a wide variety of devices,

  • relays

  • LEDs

  • locks

  • water pumps

  • solenoids

  • and more ...

Prototype, Class A end-node

Three different sensors are connected to this PiXCL™ end-node,

  • illumination sensor
  • magnetic field sensor
  • pyroelectric sensor (thermal)
