The Decaf IOC-430Z-4IG integration module package consists of a 4.3″ 800×480 colour LCD with capacitive touch, the 168MHz Cortex-M4 mpu board running FreeRTOS, TCP/IP and a network server. Board I/O and graphics can be controlled either by a host app via USB, or via Ethernet from a web page app. MQTT (a.k.a. “mosquito”) secure communications is included.
Digital, analog, USB and network I/O are provided as follows:
Digital Inputs (8) are used to sense the state of binary devices such as push buttons, limit switches, relays and logic levels. Inputs are active L.
Digital Outputs (8) can be used to drive low current LEDs (e.g. indicators), solid state relays and anything that accepts a 0-3V3 CMOS signal. Outputs are active H.
Analog Inputs (8) are used to measure 0-5.0Vdc continuous signals generated by sensors such as temperature, humidity, gas pressure, light level or position.
128MB NAND Flash storage for screen shots and icons, supported in firmware.
USB2 Full Speed device interface for control and data transfers and firmware updates.
USB2 High Speed PHY device or host interface (Type A or mini-B connectors). This is used for loading of images into the NAND Flash, and capturing screen shots.
10/100Mb Ethernet PHY, serviced by a user configurable server in the firmware. The PHY MAC address is unique for each board. The IP address is initially set via a USB command and stored in non-volatile memory on the board.
All Decaf boards include a battery-backed Real Time Clock that can be set and queried by your apps.
If your project requires additional I/O capabilities, consider adding a Decaf IOC-2xe.
A project installation can include multiple LCD devices if desired: each installed Decaf board LCD can be uniquely addressed with the same PiXCL command. For example, you could use a Decaf IOC-430E-4IG for user interaction (text and buttons) and a Decaf IOC-370 to display a dynamically updated graphic of the process being monitored.

- Virtual COM port usb cable (Red/Green/White/Black = 5V/GND/Tx/Rx).
- external power supply.
- 8 way switch debouncer module that plugs directly into the digital input connector. This allows switches, relays and similar mechanical contacts to connected without any additional hardware components.
